The 15-inch MacBook Air with the M2 Chip, announced at WWDC on June 5, 2023, and released on June 13, 2023, introduced a larger screen option to the Air lineup. It utilized the same flat, fanless design as the 13-inch M2 Air, providing a spacious display without the increased weight and power of the Pro models.

Large Display in a Thin Design: The main feature was the new 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, offering more screen real estate in an incredibly thin (0.45 inches) and light form factor.
